Danielle’s Trip to Ú by Grand Fiesta Americana in Cancun!

“I recently traveled with a bunch of girlfriends to U by Fiesta and I was more than impressed with this resort. The staff went above and beyond at every turn to make sure we always had what we needed. The pool side waitstaff was extremely attentive and accommodating – even bringing our lunch right over to the pool! The beach was gorgeous with powder white sand and crystal water! The rooms were spacious and clean.  The spa was fantastic!! The food was great with a lot of options.  We ate at The Table, which was an authentic Mexican tasting dinner on an interactive digital table that explained some of Mexico’s history, which was truly a unique experience. The hotel is located right near some of Cancun’s best nightlife (CoCo Bongo, Senor Frogs Ect) yet felt secluded while at the beach or pool.  Cant wait to go back and stay at this resort again!!”

Travel agent: Dawn

PROPERTY/DESTINATION VISITED:  El Dorado Royale Casitas, Riviera Maya, Mexico
WHEN YOU TRAVELED:  May/2018
WAS THERE EVER A POINT YOU DIDN’T FEEL SAFE:  Absolutely not!  I felt safe at all times, and the service level was top notch!
AGENTS RATING:  5+ Stars
TYPE OF CLIENT RECOMMENDED FOR THIS PROPERTY:   Adults that are looking for a quiet, romantic getaway with gourmet meals and top notch service.  Perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary, wedding, birthday or family getaway.
FAVORITE PART OF MY JOB: Talking to potential clients about their particular perfect vacation
BACKGROUND:  My name is Dawnie.  I have worked at JetSet Vacations for less than 5 years; however, I have been in sales for 25 years working with clients.  I just came back from an amazing 5 days at the El Dorado Casitas Royale. Let me begin by saying when we exited the Cancun International airport, we were greeted by Endless Tour representatives that took us to our hotel that was approximately 1 hour from the airport.  The driver was very nice and accommodating.   Then, we entered paradise!  When we arrived at the resort, we were greeted by the bellhop with two glasses of champagne! They took our luggage right away and greeted us with big warm smiles. We got in a golf cart and they took us right to our room where we would find our luggage waiting for us. Check-in was a pleasure. We right away met our personal concierge who took care of us for the whole vacation including our bedding, the smell of our room, our towels and our dinner reservations. Never hesitation, always there to make our vacation a little more comfortable
Restaurants: There are so many to choose from. Mexican, Italian and Asian Cuisine.  The portions are perfect and you can order everything and anything you like. You can eat anything from a hamburger to Surf and Turf, salads , fish, healthy selections, all fresh and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. You can sit outside and eat or sit inside and cool off and dine. If you don’t want to eat in any of the restaurants, you can order room service 24 hours a day which comes relatively quickly and has a widespread menu.
Pools:  Each Casitas area has their own pool section with their own swim up bar and you can use any pool you like. You can also use the main pool at the El Dorado Royale where the music is fun and there’s water volleyball and water polo. The pools are all clean and checked daily. The chairs are comfortable and fresh towels are put out everyday. If you want to get out of the sun, you can use one of several Bali beds located in their own area of the resort.
Activities:  You can use the bikes on your own or join the bike tour to see the whole resort and enjoy a little exercise. There are a few gyms on property so if you’re looking to exercise, there are plenty of machines and they are super clean. Kayaks and snorkel gear are always available and definitely worth a shot if you want to see some beautiful fish near the coral reef.  Every night there is a band, a show and a circus for some entertainment.
Beaches:  The beaches are kept very clean and very well maintained. There are always chairs available to lay in the Sun or a beach umbrella or Bali bed to get in some shade and enjoy the ocean breezes
Drinks:  The liquor on property is Top Shelf and top-notch. The bartenders are all so nice and can make you anything you like.
Wi-Fi:  Wi-Fi is free and works great anywhere on the property. You can make local and International phone calls from your room at any time free of charge.
“Our room was breathtaking and nicely decorated and clean. Big screen TV, cozy bed, fully stocked mini-bar  and snacks that were replenished daily.  We even chose our style of pillow with our concierge. There were two showers in the room, one private outdoor shower (which was amazing) and an indoor shower with a rain shower head. There was plenty of water pressure and a great experience!  There was a private toilet and two sinks in our bathroom. The room was cleaned everyday and flowers were placed on our bed which made us feel very special!. When we would return to our room each evening, our bed was turned down and our slippers were placed next to our bed.  They also sprayed our room with aromatherapy and the scent of our choice.  The upper Casitas had a beautiful balcony with a bed, table and chairs which was perfect to sit and drink our coffee in the morning and to sit and relax after our fun days in the sun.  The views of the ocean were beautiful!  Overall,  this was definitely a five-star Resort.”
Thank you,

Jennifer’s Costa Rica Experience! Pura Vida!

TRAVEL AGENTJennifer

PROPERTY/DESTINATION VISITED:  Santa Juana Rural Mountain Lodge, Costa Rica

WHEN YOU TRAVELED:  July/2018

WAS THERE EVER A POINT YOU DIDN’T FEEL SAFE: On the drive in, which I did myself, I would suggest using the transfer service we offer from Quepos and letting the lodge staff drive up the mountain. Once at the lodge, we felt like part of the family

AGENTS RATING:  5+ Stars

TYPE OF CLIENT RECOMMENDED FOR THIS PROPERTY:   Anyone looking for a real off the grid escape. Nature lovers, families, friends and couples looking for real connections to each other and the places that make the world such a special place to inhabit

FAVORITE PART OF MY JOB: Finding truly unique and different resorts and lodges with a history, or special charm and most importantly, a sense of place, and being able to make that an affordable reality for our clients.

BACKGROUND: I’ve been with Jetset Vacations since we opened our doors 8years ago, and I have 17 years of travel industry experience, from sales, to customer service, and currently product management. I’m an avid world traveler and have been since I was a kid – I have stamps in my passport from 6 continents. I am all about the journey and soaking in everything I can along the way.

Restaurants: The lodge kitchen staffed by Dona Roxana and Dona Julia who are both amazing cooks, the food is simple, fresh and local, and we never went hungry. They’ll even teach you how to make tortillas and empanadas if you want.

Wi-Fi:  The main lodge has limited wi-fi connectivity (a small donation to the school applies), but part of the lodge’s appeal and mission is to open the door for personal conversation, and create connections between travelers, the villagers, and your group.

Accommodations: The lodge rooms are gorgeous – local wood throughout, a full kitchen and huge balcony with traditional rocking chairs and a hammock. The sectional sofa can be converted into additional bedding if needed. They have tv’s with DVDs for rent (again, small donation to the school) Your neighbors are the toucans that come to roost daily in the trees. Ceiling fans provided ample temperature control, there is no a/c, but its not needed in this area. The views are beyond spectacular.
